By digitizing and transforming their talent supply chain, Prismforce SaaS enables IT and technology service providers to accelerate profitable growth.
Prismforce, a vertical SaaS startup that helps IT firms build a digital-first, agile personnel supply chain, has raised $13.6 million in a Series A round led by Sequoia Capital India.

Prismforce plans to use the funds to broaden its product portfolio, improve its go-to-market capabilities, and expand its talent pool. Prismforce has real-world installations at some of the most rapidly developing digital specialists and top IT suppliers in the United States and India.

IT vendors throughout the world have battled to attract, engage, and retain qualified tech professionals. The exponential growth in demand for a wide range of talents as a result of company digitalization complicates issues even further. To manage this complexity efficiently, IT providers must approach it as a talent supply chain issue with a digital-first attitude. Prismforce solves these concerns with a suite of purpose-built software solutions.

Prismforce’s software solution for skill management, talent marketplace, and forecasting supports technology organizations in successfully planning, staffing, and executing projects while also giving compelling career growth opportunities for its employees. This leads to more sustainable, lucrative business development and increased staff engagement.

The $13.6 million Series A funding round was led by Sequoia Capital India, and was joined by a select group of global angel investors. Prismforce previously raised $1.8 million in seed funding as angels from a select group of industry thought leaders, serial entrepreneurs, and SaaS founders a year ago. The total amount raised now stands at $15.4 million.

“After 14 years of serving more than 30 top global IT providers and tech companies at McKinsey, my cofounder Mohd Qasim and I saw the opportunity to address this complex problem with a product-first approach,” said Somnath Chatterjee, Founder & CEO of Prismforce.
