Over 1.5 million Indonesian students will receive free digital services from Alef Education, a well-known UAE EdTech company.

Indonesia’s Ministry of Religious Affairs and Alef Education, a UAE EdTech platform, have agreed to provide students free access to a digital learning platform.

Using cutting-edge educational technology that provides students with personalized learning experiences and improves learning outcomes, Alef Education and the Ministry came to an agreement in November 2020 to modernize Indonesia’s educational system. Up to 500,000 math students in grades 7 would have access to the portal as of July 2021.

The platform has included the Arabic language as a new topic and enlarged its content to cover grades 7 to 12, rather than only the seventh, in light of the positive feedback from teachers and students. Currently, 1.5 million math and Arabic students may access the portal. Alef’s online math courses follow Indonesian curriculum guidelines and make use of the GASING method in order to help students advance. Programs for learning Arabic are enjoyable and interactive, and they aid students in developing their reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.

Alef Education CEO Geoffrey Alphonso said, “At Alef Education, we are committed to strengthening the worldwide education business, and our partnership with Indonesia has been extremely successful. As part of our ongoing partnership with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, we are happy to provide our services in Indonesia. We anticipate seeing millions of Indonesian students learn on our interactive and fun platform. The Indonesian Alef Awards, which will be presented to instructors and students who exhibit great teaching and learning approaches, are another exciting development. These awards will honor their dedication and hard work.

In addition to helping teachers present interesting, gamified information that is specifically customized to their curriculum, The Alef Platform, the company’s flagship product, also helps with grading and student management. The Platform supports this transformative process and contributes to the Platform’s success by producing real-time data to give pertinent and timely feedback to students and teachers.

Its integrated dashboard makes use of machine learning and big data to provide ministries with actionable data as well as smart and precise recommendations to improve student learning outcomes. Since its founding, Alef Education has had a positive impact on the lives of more than 670,000 students from more than 4,000 schools in the UAE, Indonesia, and the United States, as well as an additional 1,500,000 youngsters throughout Indonesia.
