Vehant Technologies, a provider of AI/ML-based Physical Security, Surveillance, and Covid solutions, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology, Mandi (IIT-Mandi) to enhance industry-academia collaboration. Vehant researchers will collaborate with IIT Mandi researchers to develop new applications for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning technologies in the company’s security screening solutions. Vehant Technologies is a well-known provider of AI and ML-based security screening solutions.
Vehant Technologies will support up to five MTech students for the school year 2022-23. Furthermore, in order to benefit from faculty and student brainpower, the firm will finance research initiatives, faculty consultancies, and PhD students at the Institute. MTech students have started the connection as sponsors. The project work, as well as the selection and admission of sponsored students, began on August 20, 2022.
Vehant will provide assistance with all collaboration initiatives, such as publications, conferences, technical journals, and IP creation. When doors open from industry, this partnership may give professors at IIT Mandi with more cooperative research/consulting opportunities. Vehant’s activities would be able to attract fresh, new talent while also promoting high-quality education.
